"There is beauty in humanity—even in our messiness, in our ugliness, in our in-between."
About Arnaya
Arnaya is a self-taught visual artist born in Boston and currently based in Los Angeles. Her creative journey began as a therapeutic outlet and gradually unfolded into a vital practice of self-discovery, healing, and connection. What began as a deeply personal exploration has become a powerful expression of reflection, reverence, and growth—rooted in the rhythms of music, the grounding of faith, and the complexity of lived experience.
With a background in Criminal Justice and Victimology, Arnaya spent years empowering others to reclaim their voice and agency. Today, she continues that mission through her art- inviting viewers into layered conversations about identity, healing, and the quiet, often-overlooked moments that shape us. Her creative practice weaves personal history with collective memory, transforming pain, faith, and joy into a visual language that speaks to the soul.
Working primarily with acrylics and mixed media on canvas and reclaimed wood, Arnaya builds textured, layered compositions that pulse with energy and reverence. Music informs the movement in her work; faith shapes the quiet reverence in each stroke. Her abstract pieces do not demand meaning but offer a space to feel- raw, honest, and unfiltered.
Art, for Arnaya, is not separate from life. It is how she returns to herself daily, flawed, evolving, whole. Through her practice, she reminds us that beauty exists even in what is broken, and that imperfection, like art itself, is a sacred thing.
